A multi-award winning community heritage group

We are a small community heritage group based in North West Leicestershire.  We love to involve local people in making historical drama films and bringing history to life. Get in touch if you fancy getting involved!

Quick Flicks our annual film showcase will be on Tuesday 2nd June as part of Ashby Arts Festival. Films will be shown in the film theatre at Ashby School, Nottingham Road, LE65 1DT.

Free entry and free on site parking. No need to book.


The films this year will be:

The Shoe Strike Girl. A 19 year old factory girl becomes the centre of a strike at the Boot and Shoe factory in Enderby in 1913.


Here I Am. A comedy about online dating


Samuel Shaw. Set in the late 17th century. Shaw went through many difficulties to become headmaster of Ashby Grammar School.
